Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, mobile number, email address, reservation date and time, guest count, table preference, occasion details, special requests, support or complaint details, visit history, food or beverage preferences, average billing range, payment mode notes, and communication history.

When you use our website, QR menu, reservation links, WhatsApp links or support forms, we may also collect technical information such as IP address, device type, browser, approximate location inferred from network data, pages viewed, buttons clicked, referral source, campaign tags, and cookie or analytics identifiers.

03

Reservations, calls and WhatsApp

When you call, WhatsApp or use a reservation button, your device may open the phone app, WhatsApp, WhatsApp Web or a third-party messaging experience. We use the details you share to confirm availability, manage tables, respond to enquiries, and improve guest service.

If you send a preset message, the message text may be visible to WhatsApp and its services. Your use of WhatsApp, phone dialer, Google Maps or similar third-party tools is also governed by that provider’s own privacy terms.

04

Support, complaints and feedback

If you contact us for support or submit a complaint, we use the information provided to understand the issue, respond to you, investigate service quality, brief the relevant team, and maintain a reasonable record of the matter.

Complaint records may include your contact details, visit details, order references, attachments, message content and internal notes created by the team while resolving the issue.

05

CRM, loyalty and guest records

Goat Brew may maintain guest records for operational, marketing and relationship purposes. These records may include first visit, last visit, last order, favourite order, average billing amount, payment mode, contact status, lead source, offer interest, WhatsApp follow-up history and team notes.

We use this information to recognise returning guests, manage offers, send relevant updates where permitted, reduce duplicate records, and make future visits smoother. You can ask us to correct or remove your details from marketing follow-ups by contacting us.

06

Orders, payments and delivery platforms

For orders, billing, delivery or platform-based interactions, information may be handled by point-of-sale systems, payment processors, delivery platforms, restaurant listing platforms or reservation platforms. Goat Brew does not ask guests to share full card numbers or bank passwords through this website.

We may receive limited order, payment status, booking or contact information from such platforms where it is needed for restaurant operations, accounting, reconciliation, guest support or legal compliance.

07

Website analytics, cookies and advertising

We use analytics and measurement tools such as Google Analytics to understand website traffic, popular pages, menu interest, reservation clicks, WhatsApp clicks, call clicks and campaign performance. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Some analytics controls are also offered directly by browser extensions or by the relevant analytics provider. If cookies are disabled, core website pages should still work, although tracking, preferences or some embedded features may behave differently.

08

In-restaurant safety, photos and CCTV

For safety, security and operations, the restaurant may use CCTV or similar monitoring in public guest and staff areas where permitted by law. CCTV footage is used for security, incident review, dispute resolution and operational safety.

Photos and videos may be captured during events, media visits or promotional activity. Where a guest is clearly featured for promotional use, we aim to use reasonable consent practices. If you have a concern about a photo or video used by us, contact us and we will review it.

09

How we use information

We use personal information to manage reservations, serve guests, respond to enquiries, process support requests, maintain customer records, send relevant updates, run offers, measure website performance, improve menus and services, protect the restaurant, prevent misuse, comply with accounting and regulatory duties, and enforce legitimate rights.

We try to collect only information that is reasonably needed for the purpose explained at the time of collection or for a connected restaurant, legal, safety or business purpose.

10

When we share information

We may share information with authorised Goat Brew team members, owners or managers, website hosting providers, IT and CRM service providers, email and messaging tools, analytics providers, payment or billing partners, delivery and reservation platforms, professional advisers, and public authorities when required by law.

We do not sell guest personal information. Where a service provider supports our operations, we expect them to handle information only for the relevant service and with reasonable confidentiality and security measures.

11

Retention of information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including reservations, support, customer service, accounting, taxation, dispute handling, safety, legal compliance and business records.

Marketing contact records are retained until they are no longer useful for the purpose collected, or until you ask us to stop using them for marketing, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements. CCTV retention periods may be shorter unless footage is needed for an incident, claim, investigation or legal requirement.

12

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect information from unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure. Access to internal guest, reservation, sales or CRM pages is intended to be restricted to authorised team members.

No website, messaging service or internet transmission is completely risk-free. Please avoid sending sensitive financial information, passwords, government IDs or private documents through ordinary chat unless specifically required and confirmed by the restaurant team.

13

Your choices and rights

You may contact us to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, deletion where appropriate, withdrawal from marketing messages, or review of a complaint record. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, tax, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or legitimate operational reasons.

14

Children and age-restricted services

Our restaurant welcomes families, but this website and our direct marketing systems are not intended to knowingly collect children’s personal information without appropriate adult involvement.

Alcohol-related content, bar menus and alcohol service are subject to applicable Maharashtra law, age checks, responsible-service practices and restaurant discretion. Age confirmation on the website does not guarantee alcohol service at the restaurant.

15

Third-party websites and links

Our website may link to Google Maps, Instagram, WhatsApp, restaurant listing platforms, delivery platforms, payment services, media articles and other external websites. These third parties operate their own services and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.

16

Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our website, restaurant operations, technology, service providers, legal requirements or internal practices.

The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the website or continued interaction with Goat Brew after an update means the latest policy applies to that interaction.

17

This policy has been prepared with reference to applicable Indian privacy principles, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules or notifications published by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

Nothing on this page is intended to limit any right available to a guest under applicable law.
